Bud to Bloom Garden Tour

The Kemptville Horticultural Society presents its annual Bud to Bloom Garden Tour.  

There are 9 stops including 7 private gardens, Rideau Woodland Ramble display gardens plus the grounds and greenhouse at University of Guelph Kemptville campus. In addition, there will be a strawberry tea at a historic inn included with the $15 ticket. The proceeds of this tour go towards our 2 annual bursaries to deserving students at the University of Guelph horticultural program.

Some of the featured properties:

  • Peony Circle Garden several decades old on the grounds of charming stone house from 1840
  • A big beautiful garden with a hand-laid stone fence
  • A pool surrounded by gardens and various trees
  • A garden planted in bare slate in 1994 is now an acre of stunning perennial beds, fish ponds, rock fence and patio with fire pit
  • A former inn and mail stage coach stopover built in 1890 surrounded by gardens that suit the house
