50th Anniversary of Rideau River Provincial Park

Paddling Puppeteer Help Rideau River Provincial Park celebrate their 50th Anniversary as the Paddling Puppeteer (www.paddlingpuppeteers.com) brings his show to the beach area at Rideau River Provincial Park at 2:00 p.m. Rideau River Park is located at 2680 Donnelly Drive near Kemptville and can be reached at 613-258-2740. The show is free but you must hold a valid Ontario Parks vehicle day use pass, seasonal pass or camping permit for park entry. Your park entry permit can be purchased at the main park gate.
Freshwater Trade The Anniversary Party at Rideau River Provincial Park continues with a concert by Freshwater Trade (www.freshwatertrade.ca) starting at 8 p.m. The original and traditional tunes by Freshwater Trade present a singing and fiddling tour of the forests and waterways of Canada. Songs of the lumberjacks, Great Lakes sailors and dynamic peoples of early Canada are all represented in this exciting show. Start time 8 p.m. Rideau River Park is located at 2680 Donnelly Drive near Kemptille and can be reached at 613-258-2740. Free admission for the concert but you must hold a valid Ontario Parks vehicle day use pass, seasonal pass or camping permit for park entry.
