Saunders Country Critters Zoo is a small zoo with very big hearts that provide some pretty memorable experiences with a wide variety of animals - furry, feathered or even some with a leather skin or shell. Throughout the years the team at Saunders have worked tirelessly and developed into a much needed sanctuary for numerous unwanted animals.

Open daily 10:00 am to 4:00pm, from May 18, 2019 to September 2, 2019 ​​

Big Sky Ranch

Big Sky Ranch rehabilitates abused or injured domestic animals, as well as takes in any unwanted domestic animal. Big Sky Ranch Animal Sanctuary resides on 26 acres of land and currently houses over 150 abused and unwanted domestic animals such as horses, cows, ponies, goats, donkeys, turkeys, ducks, geese, roosters, llamas, sheep, cats, dogs, rabbits, pigs, and emus!

Visit Big Sky Ranch Tuesday to Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or Saturday/Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Welcome to Hollyhock Hill Alpacas, the largest Chilean alpaca breeder in North Grenville! We are located just outside of Kemptville, Ontario, Canada. On 23 acres of land, we have lots of room for expansion and plenty of hay on site to meet the needs of our 30+ herd. We breed, board, and sell yarn, raw fibre, socks and sweaters and of course, fertilizer!

Rideau Woodland Ramble consists of garden centre and display gardens. There are 6 distinct gardens that are connected by trails and walkways, covering 3 acres.

Alpaca Tracks utilizes home grown alpaca fibre as well as incorporating traditional local skills and knowledge in the production of their end product from rovings and yarn to duvets. Alpaca Tracks also imports fair-trade items from Peru with the intent of keeping the wealth of traditional Peruvian artisan knowledge and practises alive.

adjacent to the Ferguson Forest Centre - across from the Creekside Centre.

Kemptville Dog Park

Kemptville Dog Park

The Ferguson Forest Dog Park is in Ferguson Forest just minutes from downtown Kemptville. The Park was established by the North Grenville Dog Parks Corporation with a mandate to establish and maintain designated areas within the community where dogs can safely play and exercise off leash. The attractive grass and forested area provides park patrons and their dogs with a large fenced area for large dogs and a fenced area for small dogs. Park users will find a safe facility to exercise their canine companions, as well as socialize with other dog owners. Dogs will enjoy frolicking with their owners and their dog friends in a place built just for them!
