Each year, the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo (IPM) moves to a different location across Ontario. This year, North Grenville has the absolute pleasure to host this exceptional exhibition Tues. Sept. 20 to Sat. Sept. 24 on the grounds of the historic Kemptville Campus!

Green Gables Vines takes pride in their winery and vineyards. Having a vineyard situated in a harsh climate is no easy feat but they have persevered, and the planted vines have been carefully selected to thrive in the suboptimal conditions! They have so many rich wines to available to buy and they’re dreamed up and crafted at the winery. That’s not where the excitement stops though, because you can also book an appointment to have a wine and cheese tasting! It’s the perfect date activity to enjoy with your significant other, or a unique experience to do with your friends! Either way, you’re certainly sure to find something that satisfies your tastes! Kemptville Creek offers a picturesque way to view the countryside while getting in some outdoor activity and water fun! The creek is navigable for smaller watercraft from the Rideau River to Kemptville, or for canoeing or kayaking from Bishops Mills to Oxford Mills. Portages may be necessary. Bring your fishing gear and try for “the big one!”
