Canada Day 2019 – What to Expect

It’s Canada’s birthday! And to celebrate, North Grenville has a day full of fun activities and events that will keep you and your family entertained. The day is jam-packed with a variety of fun events that can entertain anyone in the family.

Celebrate in Riverside Park, Kemptville

In the Riverside Park starting at 11:00am, there will be arts and crafts, water gun fights, face painting, henna tattoos, feather hair extensions, a Reptile Rainforest show, games, soccer training, demos and a game of bike and skate, and more. The public pool is open for free public swims at 12:30pm – 1:30pm and 3:00pm – 4:00pm, and has free family swim at 1:45pm – 2:45pm.

The parade will depart from the Kemptville campus at 4:00pm, and will travel up Prescott Street, left on Clothier Street, and will end in the Holy Cross parking lot. The theme this year being “Celebrating Canada – Our Home”, the parade should be one of the most extravagant yet! Bands and Dignitaries will be in attendance and it will be fun for the whole family!
